Switzerland Trip: Most Expensive Pictures

Switzerland Trip: Most Expensive Pictures, Tarun Chandel Photoblog

The pics from Switzerland that I have posted over last few day and the pics that I will be posting in coming weeks are the most expensive photos that I have ever clicked. The Pounds and Swiss Francs I have spent on my trip in itself is a big amount but when I convert them to Indian Rupees my heart starts sinking.

Let me tell you about Zurich city and the Limmat Riverside, as the money I have spent is water under the bridge and there is no point in thinking about it :) Zurich looks as beautiful in night as it is during the day. A stroll along the riverside will make you fall in love with this city. After taking a long walk along the riverside I wanted to get a panoramic view of the Zurich city. Hanspeter showed me Jules Verne, it is a Bar in one of the tallest buildings in Zurich. Situated at Uraniastrasse, Jules Verne is a aptly called a Panorama Bar as you will get the best panoramic view of Zruich from there. Hanspeter told me that the building used to be Urania Observatory, from where people used to gaze stars at night but now due to pollution it is not possible to see stars clearly, so it has been coverted into a Bar. Well I could see Zurich lights from up there and it looked as if Stars were on the ground.

-->Mariam: Oh yes it was awesome! The Limmat riverside in Zurich is bit ignored by tourists as Zurichsee takes precedence. But it is as good a riverside as Thames in London (personally I liked Limmat more as it was quieter).
Mariam, did I meet you at the last Blogcamp?
