Coming back to Hergiswil, the train continues to move along the Vierwaldstattersee and you keep wondering wow this place is beautiful. From Alpnach Dorf to Sarnen keep looking out of your window while sipping hot Lavazza coffee as you might spot Stanserhorn, Pilatus and Glaubenberg hills. At Sarnen you might spot Sarnersee Lake and the green water will stay with you till almost Giswil. But you will really close to it at Sachseln and Ewil Maxon. From Giswil the train start moving bit slow due to a steep hike. From Kaiserstuhl to Lungern you can see the lake Lungernsee through the thick cover of trees. You will enjoy the wooden houses that are scattered along the railway track from Brunig-Hasliberg to Meiringen.

At Meiringen the trains takes a much longer halt than normal as from Meiringen the train starts moving in the opposite direction. It is a good opportunity to may be getting down and talking to some local people but remain aware of the time as Swiss Trains are very punctual of time. I chose to talk to a train official who was accompanying us on the train. I walked out with him as that assured me I won’t miss my train. The people of Meiringen were warm and friendly. I had my second cup of Lavazza coffee there and it never tasted better than that. In midst of thick snow cover if you get hot coffee to sip it feels like heaven.
