Police and security agencies have a tough time ensuring the safety and smooth running of the Ganpati Festival. They have a very tough task to maintain the order when there are so many people dancing and singing on the roads. The pressure under which they operate is immense. Their presence is one of the biggest reason that people are able to enjoy the Ganpati Festival.

Though the festival is great but Ganesh Idol keep lying in water for a really long time. Such idols not only make gory pictures like above but also pollute the environment. People should take responsibility of selecting the idol that is made of environment friendly material and that leaves no such traces like above.

Its never to late....
We have opted for an Eco-Friendly Ganesh Idol for the forthcoming Ganesh Festival. Will spread this awareness to all other mandal to go for eco-friendly idol and support nature.

I witnessed the Ganesh Visarjan in Mumbai last year, it was a great experience. I love this festival.
